Let’s be clear—this isn’t governance. This is oligarchy in action, and the media’s failure to call it out is paving the way for something far darker.

Elon’s Quarter-Billion Dollar Election Fix

Elon Musk didn’t just sit back and tweet his way into political relevance. He poured at least $277 million into Trump’s 2024 campaign, with a hefty chunk funneled into the mysterious RBG PAC—a dark-money operation that flooded battleground states with attack ads and disinformation, all financed by Musk’s deep pockets. Not to mention Musk’s buying of votes, using his vast wealth to influence the election outcome.

Musk’s weaponization of X is a stark reminder of how unchecked wealth corrupts public discourse. Under his watch, X became a cesspool of rage and Russian-backed far-right propaganda. Figures like Tim Pool and Benny Johnson, both paid by Russia, dominated the platform, drowning out meaningful debate with noise and disinformation. The parallels to Russia’s oligarch-controlled media system are chilling, yet much of the media is treating Musk's actions as quirky, eccentric leadership rather than an existential threat to democracy.

So how does the richest man in the world, post-election, spend his day and manage his shadowy political schemes? The answer lies in his uniquely chaotic schedule: mornings spent holding calls and meetings with foreign leaders, afternoons strategizing the dismantling of American institutions, and evenings trolling liberals on X as the internet’s most obnoxious far-right meme lord. All the while, Musk’s companies rake in billions in U.S. government contracts—despite the glaring national security concerns raised by revelations about his undisclosed communications with Putin just months ago. Truly, a renaissance man of ruin and a walking conflict of interest.

DOGE: The Trojan Horse of Destruction

Enter DOGE, a fabricated agency created by Trump to appease his billionaire benefactor. Tasked with “streamlining” government, its real mission is to gut federal agencies, fire career civil servants, and obliterate safety nets like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

DOGE’s plans include targeting the Department of Justice, replacing expertise with loyalty, and dismantling institutions critical to national security. It’s a power grab dressed up as reform, allowing Musk and his allies to consolidate control while destroying the safeguards of democracy.

Normalizing the Insanity

The most frustrating and dangerous part of all this isn’t just Musk’s influence—it’s how the media frames it. Headlines describe Musk’s actions as “disruptive” or “innovative,” as if creating DOGE and turning X into a cesspool of Russian disinformation are just quirky billionaire antics.

Here’s the reality: Musk is not an elected official. He has no mandate from the American people, yet he’s acting as a shadow president, dictating policy, shaping Trump’s cabinet, and continuing to weaponize his platform to control narratives.

This is not normal. This is not acceptable. And no amount of gaslighting will make it so.

His secret calls with war criminal Putin, carrying out a genocidal war in Ukraine, underscore the global stakes of his influence. Musk isn’t just reshaping America—he’s playing geopolitical kingmaker, prioritizing his business interests over democratic values. Now, he’s shifting gears to his next destructive project in the UK, reportedly financing a Kremlin-backed far-right party led by Nigel Farage.

Secret Calls, Foreign Influence, and a Gaslit Public

Musk’s influence extends beyond domestic policy. Reports of his secret calls with Putin reveal a man unafraid to meddle in global geopolitics. Now, Musk is sitting in on Trump’s foreign policy meetings and weighing in on cabinet picks, effectively acting as an unelected cabinet member.

This is unprecedented, undemocratic, ridiculous, and deeply dangerous. The media’s normalization of Musk and Ramaswamy’s actions mirrors how Russia’s oligarchs operate under Putin. In Russia, Kremlin insiders influence policy, fund disinformation, and control media narratives. The same playbook is being used here, and it’s alarming that so few are sounding the alarm.

This Is Not Normal. Don’t Let Them Gaslight You.

Elon Musk is not a genius reinventing governance. He’s an unelected billionaire dismantling American democracy and replacing it with a system that serves his interests.
