Yesterday the SBU detained Medvedchuk.
The whole world saw it.
There was an idea of his exchange for Ukrainian prisoners of war.
Naturally, I am not familiar with the details of this special operation, but something tells me that Ukraine conducted a multi-move move much better than Putin. Cornered Putin is narrowing the room for maneuver.
In support of this, Peskov could not comment on this better than citing fakes.
They really have nothing to say.
No one is going to change Medvedchuk for anyone.
First, he himself does not want it. In Ukraine, he is accused of treason to the rule of law, and in Russia - of deceit and theft from the Ozero organized criminal group.
Secondly, in order not to be exchanged, he will give confessions, which can significantly affect not only the fate of the "generals of absolution" V. Surkov and S. Beseda but also the special operation itself.
Third, there are significant extenuating circumstances. This is an inappropriate use of budgetary funds allocated by Putin to undermine Ukrainian statehood.
Fourth, Putin does not need him in Russia. There is no reason to recognize him as a hero. It is pointless to judge together with his accomplices even in the Basmanny Court. Death from a heart attack will show the failure of Kuma. The best place from this point of view is a prisoner of "Nazism".
Thus, this is the only episode in this special operation when all its participants play with a positive-sum.
And there is hope that the continuation of the “Godfather” special operation can bring significant benefits to Ukraine.
Hopefully he will tell what he knows- to stay alive. We’ll have to see. If not, he could be Luca Brazzi or Sonny Corleone (as far as an ending) from the eponymous movie saga.
