A former officer of the Chechen battalion "North" of the National Guard, Ruslan Geremeev, suspected of being involved in the murder of politician and opposition leader, Boris Nemtsov, is now assisting in the massacre and humanitarian catastrophe in Mariupol. This was announced in the Telegram channel by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
“My dear brother Ruslan Geremeev “Good” always brings the assigned work to the end. The most difficult section in Mariupol was assigned to him, and the commander coped with the task perfectly," Kadyrov said.
Kadyrov also posted a video of Geremeev saying a prayer surrounded by Russian forces. “Our unit, led by dear brother Ruslan Geremeev, began the morning with a prayer to the Almighty, and with the help of Almighty Allah, repelled the Nazis and captured the administrative center,” he said.
Opposition leader Boris Nemtsov was one of the harshest critics of Putin and Russia’s 2014 war against Ukraine. Nemtsov was working on a report about Russian military intervention titled “Putin: War” when he was shot dead on February 27, 2015, on the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge in Moscow, shortly after having dinner. ‘Everyone responsible for organizing the war in Ukraine must answer for their crimes’ Nemtsov said in 2014 while taking part in the drafting and signing of a resolution for an all-Russian March for Peace against Putin’s war in Ukraine.
In December 2015, investigators announced the completion of the investigation into the murder of Boris Nemtsov. They named the alleged perpetrators: Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Shadid Gubashev, and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov.
Representatives of the Nemtsov family insisted that Geremeev be included in this list. According to them, Geremeev was connected with all the suspects and could have been the mastermind behind Nemtsov’s assassination: Dadaev and Shavanov served under his leadership. Instead, the investigation put Geremeev's driver Ruslan Mukhudinov on the wanted list as a possible organizer. Geremeev himself could not be interrogated after the investigators knocked on the door of his house, but no one opened it for them.
Not surprised by this;prayers for Ukraine🇺🇦
