Russia continues to lay the groundwork for its potential chemical weapons attack in Ukraine-Latest update
Russia's warnings about impending chemical attacks are getting more frequent and detailed. For months, Russia has been laying the groundwork for using chemical weapons in Ukraine and blaming it on Ukrainian authorities. The warnings by Russia’s Defence Ministry were vague at first but over the past few weeks have gotten more detailed. This is extremely troubling because we saw this pattern in Syria. Russia’s Defence Ministry would issue warnings of an impending chemical attack and one would occur by Putin and Assad forces.
The latest breaking headlines across Russian state media outlets read like this “Kyiv is preparing a provocation with chlorine in the Kharkiv region, said the Ministry of Defense.”
This was the article that appeared in RIA Novosti along with every other major state media outlet.
Ukrainian special services are preparing "a major provocation using poisonous substances" in Pervomaisky, Kharkiv region, said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.
"On the territory of the Khimprom production association, SBU officers mined a storage facility with 120 tons of chlorine," he said.
According to a representative of the department, Russia is going to be accused of "creating a chemical disaster that caused the death of local residents."
Today, the head of the National Defense Control Center Mikhail Mizintsev also said that Ukrainian nationalists shelled the village of Dergachi, and the servicemen of the 72nd Center for Information and Psychological Operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the participation of journalists from Western news agencies, filmed staged footage of the destruction and the dead in order to accuse the Russian military of crimes. According to the ministry, the security forces carried out similar actions in Konotop and Trostyanets near Sumy, as well as in Katyuzhanka in the Kyiv region.

These warnings are more than propaganda and need to be monitored and prepared for immediately because Russia’s discussions are becoming more frequent. I am attaching my previous article on this. Less than 48 hours after that was written Russian forces shelled Sumykhimprom chemical plant in Sumy which they warned about. Also a few weeks ago there were reports of antidotes being distributed to Russian forces.
