SignalGate: Witkoff in Moscow

Yesterday, I pieced together the timeline and posted on X showing that Witkoff was in Moscow when he was added to the Houthi chat on Signal—part of the Signalgate scandal.

This aligns with the timing of the stunning revelation that senior Trump national security officials mistakenly sent journalist Jeffrey Goldberg classified war plans. They accidentally included him in a group chat detailing upcoming military strikes in Yemen—plans he initially doubted were real until the bombs began to fall.

"Sure enough, it looks like Kremlin asset Steve Witkoff was in Moscow when he was added to the Houthi chat. Russian media confirms he left Moscow on Friday, March 14, in the morning (Moscow time), while the classified Signal chat was set up Thursday."

After Moscow, Witkoff flew to Baku—another problematic and insecure location—while the Houthi chat was actively sharing classified military plans. From Friday into Saturday, the chat contained sensitive classified details on weapon payloads, targets, and strike timing.

Senator Michael Bennet raised serious concerns about this today during a Senate hearing on global threats, directly questioning CIA Director John Ratcliffe:

"Did you know that the President's Middle East advisor was in Moscow on this thread while you were as Director of the CIA participating in this thread? Were you aware of that?" Bennet grilled CIA Director John Ratcliffe.

"Are you? Are you aware of that today?" he pressed.

"I'm not aware of that today," Ratcliffe admitted.

"This incompetence, this disrespect for our intelligence agencies," Bennet fumed.

Bennet’s outrage was justified—Witkoff’s actions aren’t just a national security danger, they’re a clear sign of where his loyalties lie.

Witkoff Is a Kremlin Asset, Not a Negotiator

Steve Witkoff isn’t brokering peace—he’s advancing Moscow’s agenda. He’s acting as a Kremlin asset within Trump’s sham “peace plan,” parroting Putin’s propaganda.

In his recent interview with Tucker Carlson— another Kremlin propagandist, Witkoff openly parroted Kremlin narratives word for word. He pushed the lies that occupied eastern Ukraine “wants to be under Russian rule” and questioned whether Zelenskyy could “survive politically” if he acknowledged Russian control over annexed territories. He even bragged about Putin commissioning a portrait of Trump, trying to pass it off as diplomacy. In reality, it’s a trophy of submission.

Witkoff is Trump’s handpicked envoy for sham “peace talks” in Saudi Arabia—negotiating not for peace, but for Ukraine’s surrender. One of the objectives? A Black Sea cease-fire that serves Moscow, not Kyiv, while setting the stage for lifting sanctions. Trump’s team has deliberately shut out European allies because this isn’t diplomacy—it’s a Kremlin-backed deal. Meanwhile, Russia has stacked the table with senior operatives, including FSB officer Sergey Beseda. And instead of defending U.S. interests, Witkoff is busy lobbying for renewed Russian business ties—completely ignoring Ukraine’s security, sovereignty, and the genocide and war crimes Russia continues to commit.

This isn’t negotiation—it’s capitulation. Witkoff’s statements on NATO and Ukraine’s future security guarantees make it clear: Trump is preparing to abandon Ukraine completely. When the U.S. halted military aid and intelligence sharing earlier this month, it sent shockwaves through Europe. The temporary reversal came only when the political cost became too high.

Even The Wall Street Journal called Witkoff’s rhetoric what it is—Russian propaganda. His claim that Putin “100% doesn’t want to overrun Europe” is absurd, given that Russia has made it clear Ukraine is just the beginning. His dismissal of Britain’s security proposals as “a posture and a pose” further exposes the Trump regime’s open hostility toward U.S. allies.

Witkoff isn’t negotiating peace and this isn’t diplomacy. It’s a Kremlin operation playing out in real-time.
