I know this is everywhere but right now I swear, this is so intensely happening in Canada right now and it is making me pull my hair out!
As you may know, a majority of our newsprint media were sold off to American hedge-fund owners at the end of Stephen Harper’s damaging terms in office as Prime Minister so a lot of the information reaching people has the spin and people don’t even realize it. The false balance is a REAL problem.
BTW I interned at center for democracy studies in ny. as an opposition researcher in 1999. Learned about the far right and Nazi's etc. in the U.S. And I was incredulous. what an eye opener when trump became president and it all came out to the open.
