As an IT person I’ve been declined for many job due to the fact I did not have a clearance .. and yet they hand them out to kids who don’t know up from down -- nor have the ability to understand the seriousness of the information they work with

I agree 100%. It’s absurd kids have clearance to America’s top secrets especially when not even assigned to that area of intelligence
