Thank you for all of this information, Olga.

A third world war is upon us. Fossil fuel discovery and its exploitation for perpetual capitalist expansion has resulted in perpetual wars. These recent developments explain my current panic attack and insomnia. Grateful for the knowledge.

Quite right. Notice that all this is also a direct attack on YOU personally: if you're scared and sleep-deprived then it's that much easier to push you over.

Yes. The ratcheting up of the pitch of fearmongering has been very noticeable in recent months. Just today I received a feed on here by someone posing as a British patriot calling for Brexit to be done ‘properly’. He attacked and insulted anyone who tried to engage him with facts. Substack’s muting facility was not allowed.

I sadly expect this algorhythmic manipulative emotional abuse to keep increasing here now.

Enshittification.

Things are not looking good. Plus Iran is shooting at ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

Russia is exhausting…

I’m confused by Russia. If they don’t have the power to beat Ukraine then how would they be able to mount an attack against Finland or are they especially weak or ??

Russia's attack strategy is to constantly destabilize, demoralize, de-industrialize, demilitarize and delegitimize its targets. Once the target is scared and depleted enough, you set up a "political party" (because free speech, right?) which represents Russia's interests to the extent that that party has power. Military pressure, even short of outright attack, can optionally follow.
