How did we get here? It is Mitch McConnell who said Trump would get over his loss and then failed to rally the GOP against the insurrection to convict Trump when Trump obviously did not get over it. Merrick Garland paid too much attention to not being political and then fell into trap of Trump's delay tactics. He pursued the case as a typical RICO case which generally takes years instead as an urgent existential threat to our country. He was also hampered by highly partisan and unconstitutional SCOTUS decisions. He was not aggressive enough in countering Judge Cannon's initial moves. Biden did an amazing job ushering bills through Congress and forming beneficial international ties, but he and the Democratic leadership failed to counteract the constant barage of GOP lies and emotional manipulation. And, here we are, with a President who has massively weakened our national defense, destroyed the rule of law, trashed our basic rights, eviscerated Congress, corrupted a portion of the courts, and blatantly violated the Constitution. So far.
Musk and his minions are feeding all their stolen government information into the Musk AI initiative to give it a unique perspective and training set not available to his competitors. It’s all just to continue his feelings of dominance to make up for his insecurities. Not sure the world can survive four years of this madness. It certainly is going to be unrecognizable. What scares me the most is that a generation of young people will come of age thinking that trumpism is normal and have no knowledge of what was once considered America.
Musk now has a treasure trove of potential blackmail and espionage material to do with as he pleases, along with his calls with Putin and his business ties to China. He even has data on Trump, himself. Our national security has gone from strong to a joke in just a few weeks. What Musk and Trump didn't compromise, Pam Bondi did, blocking enforcement of FARA and stopping investigations of foreign influence peddling and spying. Now, Tulsi Gabbard, RFK, Jr., and Cash Patel will most likely be given the freedom to trash our security as well, while we see our freedoms torn away. Our adversaries just have to sit back and wait as our country dismantles itself and devolves into an authoritarian playground while Trump turns our allies against us so they'll no longer share the intelligence we need to be safe.
We need to work on a plan to effectively and permanently quarantine hostile fascist Elon Musk and his henchmen away from our Government. This may require cancellation of Musk’s Government contracts and/or deportation(s).
